LAS VEGAS – As the war in Ukraine continues to shock the world and Ukrainian troops remain locked in fierce street battles with Russian soldiers, a Las Vegas business owner with roots in the war-torn country is praying for his family and friends there while doing what he can to help his homeland.
Vladi Bergman, founder and CEO of Las Vegas-based Karma and Luck, is sharing his success by supporting Ukrainians in need. And unfortunately, the need is still great.
Karma and Luck recently donated over $6,000 to Doctors Without Borders to provide urgent medical and humanitarian supplies to Ukraine. Doctors Without Borders, or Médecins Sans Frontières, is a French-based international humanitarian and medical organization that helps citizens in countries with conflict zones or endemic diseases.
The proceeds were generated from the sale of Karma and Luck’s popular gemstone trees, with gemstones reflecting the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag.
Since 2015, Karma and Luck has grown to become an award-winning international brand with a thriving online business and eight stores in leading retail centers along the Las Vegas Strip. Bergman’s leadership and vision were rewarded in 2021 when Inc. Magazine named Karma and Luck to its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Karma and Luck currently has nine retail locations in Las Vegas and Houston, with new brick-and-mortar experiences coming soon to New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
