LAS VEGAS – De Castroverde Law Group partnered with Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas to offer the 2022 Road to College Academic Scholarship to Allison Hill, a student at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
Hill plans to attend Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, where she will study business administration and design. She said she is “very motivated about her higher education and that girls all over the world receive an education.”
“Girls’ access to education has, and will, remain an area of passion throughout my life,” Hill said. “It reflects my own pursuit of knowledge and my persistence to keep solving problems no matter the magnitude.”
“We’re pleased to award this scholarship to such a deserving young lady,” said Orlando De Castroverde, law firm partner. “It’s gratifying to support students in such a direct way. Other programs that focus on the support of students and teachers include our teacher appreciation awards and internships for students who attend Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School.”
This is the second year the two local businesses have partnered, combining their donations to present a local high school senior with a $10,000 scholarship to further the winner’s education.
