Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) is pleased to announce that Stephanie Robinson has been selected by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools to participate in the coveted Rising Leaders program.
Robinson is one of 10 students who will have the opportunity to participate in a year-long program that will offer individual training with policy professionals in civic participation, leadership development, education advocacy, and public speaking. All students selected for the Rising Leaders program were chosen for demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities and improving their school community.
“We are incredibly proud that one of our students was selected to participate in the Rising Leaders program,” said Ercan Aydogdu, executive director and CEO of CASLV. “There were many applicants nationwide for this program and Stephanie being chosen speaks volumes about her character, dedication, and leadership abilities. On behalf of all the students, staff and teachers at Coral Academy, we congratulate her on this achievement and look forward to her continued success.”
The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools established Rising Leaders in support of students who are committed to civic action and community engagement. All participants of the program are students at charter schools and will have the opportunity to launch an advocacy club within their school in order to address education issues within their community.
