Henderson City Councilwoman and candidate for mayor, Michelle Romero, announced today that her campaign raised over $500,000 since announcing her candidacy for mayor in May of 2021. The massive haul sets an all-time record for a candidate for Henderson mayor heading into the election year, demonstrating the strength and diversity of support in this year’s critical campaign year.
“It is truly humbling to enter the election year with the kind of financial support our campaign generated last year, and we’re just getting started,” Romero stated. “We not only raised over a half-million dollars since announcing in May, we have gained endorsements from many key individuals and community groups across Henderson, putting us in a position of strength as 2022 begins.
Councilwoman Michelle Romero officially launched her campaign for mayor in May of 2021, surrounded by family and dozens of friends, and supporters. She has earned endorsements from various community leaders, business leaders, elected leaders, as well as public safety groups.
