Dida Clifton, founder of TheOfficeSquad, will talk about why “Even Start-Ups Need Systems” at a Sip’N Learn Las Vegas event set from 5:30p.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, at the International Innovation Center at 300 S. Fourth St., Suite 180, in Downtown Las Vegas.
In the December session of the Sip’N Learn Series, Clifton will discuss why two of the top three reasons start-ups often fail involve operations, along with what they are and why you need to pay attention to them from Day One.
According to Clifton, businesses go through changes, transitions, and a lot of turbulence as they grow, which impacts operations and can be difficult to overcome if you haven’t been implementing and developing internal systems.
During this session, she will also address best practices and how to avoid the snafus that are common in operations and bookkeeping for early start-ups and small businesses as they look to grow.
Doors are set to open at 5:15p.m. Free parking is available at the Historic Fifth Street School, which can be accessed on Fourth Street just north of Clark Avenue.
The cost for the event is a $5 donation for light bites and drinks. For tickets, visit tickettailor.com/events/startupnv/613943.
