HENDERSON, Nev. – Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) is proud to announce their recent recognition in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards. Coral Academy received Gold designations for the following categories: Best Elementary School, Best Middle School, Best High School and Best Charter School
“We are honored to have been awarded gold in all four school categories in this year’s Best of Las Vegas Awards,” said Ercan Aydogdu, executive director for CASLV. “Our students, faculty and staff are the pride of our organization and we are thankful to them and the community for their votes and advocacy. Every day we work to provide our students with a quality and challenging curriculum that will prepare them for their future endeavors.”
This is the second time that CASLV has been awarded Gold for Best High School in the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Previous recognitions include: 2017 Silver for Best Charter School and Best Middle School, 2017 Bronze for Best Elementary School, 2018 Silver Best Charter School and 2019 Silver Best Charter School.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has been conducting the Best of Las Vegas awards since 1981, making 2020 its 39th edition. This years contest received 5.67 million votes from more than 291,000 people. For 2020, 4,686 companies and individuals made 15,453 nominations in over 350 categories, making this year the largest version in the contests history.
