Farmtable Kitchen + Spirits, offering a taste of southern cuisine, celebrated with an all-day grand opening celebration on Saturday, December 7. Festivities included a ribbon cutting, complimentary cake, biscuits and buy-one-get-one Signature Cocktails for guests to sample and enjoy. The scratch kitchen, located at Town Square Las Vegas, specializes in breakfast, lunch, + supper and hand crafts farm-fresh locally-sourced ingredients, as well, as good, old-fashioned home cooking.
Family owned, Tony and Linne DePasquale, created the comfort food concept for Farmtable Kitchen + Spirits and Chef Melissa Walton, The specialty menu includes house favorite, Farmhand Chicken and Waffles, Sweet Tea Braised Short Ribs, orange-blossom-honey biscuits with country gravy, eggs, bacon and Gouda, fried green tomatoes with smoked pepper aioli; Braised Brisket, Louisiana grilled shrimp skewers, Farmtable Nashville Hot Chicken with Vermont cheddar and bacon on brioche, pecan-crusted salmon with lemon Bechamel, and Farmtable Shrimp ’N Grits with Vermont cheddar, pulled pork and heirloom tomatoes.
Chef Melissa encompasses more than 40 years experience as a commercial cook and chef and is a graduate of the Las Vegas Culinary Academy. Melissa’s practical experience was accumulated through her years of working many Las Vegas kitchen’s and she specializes in Southern Cuisine, and has received many awards including best BBQ in Las Vegas award. Additionally, she has prepared meals for; John Sally (NBA, Hall of Famer), Marshawn Lynch, and Las Vegas Aces members, and others.
The extensive menu was designed to feature delectable dishes for all tastebuds, including kids’ menus, and breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menus, and offer a variety of sides, salads and soups. Fresh Lavazza coffee and natural teas, with assorted fresh baked goods, are also offered daily.
