
The Nevada chapter of the Community Associations Institute, a nonprofit business trade group, named CAMCO as the 2018 Outstanding Large Management Company of the Year on March 29 at the Flyin’ High With CAI awards gala.
The awards program for CAI, a membership organization dedicated to building better communities, took place at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Las Vegas.
CAI recognized companies for ethics and professionalism; educational opportunities for managers and homeowners associations; professional designations by managers; local community outreach; participation in CAI events; and professional goals related to CAI.
CAMCO, founded in 1993, has offices in Las Vegas, Henderson, Carson City, Laughlin and Reno. Its staff provides management services for community associations, builders and developers throughout Nevada.
CAMCO CEO Joel Just and several members of his team attended the gala and accepted the award, earned for the company’s commitment to its employees, its community engagement and its support of CAI.
CAMCO Marketing Director Mary Rendina said, “It was an honor to receive such a prestigious award. We are continually looking at ways to support our team members and foster an environment where our employees look forward to coming to work each day.”
CAI, which was founded in 1973, and its 60 U.S. and international chapters, provide information, education and resources to homeowner volunteers who govern communities and the professionals who support them.
CAI’s 30,000-plus members include community association board members, other homeowner leaders, community managers, association management companies and other professionals who provide products and services to community associations.
