YurView Las Vegas has Emmy winning, local and live content including web and social sites
Las Vegas – YurView Las Vegas has launched on the Cox channel lineup on cable 96 and cable 1096 in HD. The new channel offers a wide array of exclusive lifestyle, cooking, entertainment and sports television content produced locally for Southern Nevada audiences. YurView Las Vegas also provides news, information and on demand content at www.YurView.com/LasVegas as well as social content on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. YurView is the source for local origination television managed by Cox Communications for its six clustered cable systems in 18 states across the U.S.

San Diego Padres baseball will continue to be one of the summer and fall centerpieces of YurView Las Vegas. Fans of NHL ice hockey will savor Behind the Vegas Ice, a 10-episode 2017 Emmy Award-winning original docudrama that tells the story of the Las Vegas Golden Knights’ arrival in Southern Nevada. A high school football game of the week is also scheduled for the fall.
Programming content on YurView Las Vegas includes Under the Vegas Sun, a 30-minute weekly talk show featuring insider news from people shaping Las Vegas while Heart of Vegas is a 2017 Emmy Award-winning weekly community news show produced exclusively for YurView Las Vegas. Live with Lisa is a weekly business, culture and community advocacy show featuring local leaders. Other shows include Asian Voices, There in the Islands, Cooking Hawaiian Style, Kathlyn’s Korean Kitchen, Sam the Cooking Guy, Dining Out with Noah, The Pulse, The Good Food Factor, Su Vida, The Pulse, Curiosity Quest, California Life with Heather Dawson, Inclusion Short Films and others. The network is also scheduled to produce and broadcast 30-minute specials that focus on local businesses and the economy as well as issues that matter to Sothern Nevadans.
A program block has been created on YurView Las Vegas with general times of Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 12:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Block times may vary due to live and re-broadcasted sports programming. During non-block times, paid programming will be aired. An up-to-date weekly programming grid is available on the YurView Las Vegas website under “TV Listings” in the horizontal navigation bar.

YurView Las Vegas replaces the previous destination for local content in the Cox channel lineup known as Cox Channel 96. Local origination programming is defined as local television content created by a producer for broadcast within the local television market.
