As principal, Tiffany East, APR, has more than 30 years of experience in creating award-winning strategic public relations campaigns at the local, regional and national levels including corporate communications, media relations and publicity, internal communications, promotions, event planning and crisis management.
East’s experience has been driven by a commitment to building awareness campaigns that change behavior – the ultimate goal of a strategic public relations campaign. Effective public relations campaigns employ strategies to reach audiences through a variety of mediums including media relations and community outreach. These campaigns take time, dedication to nurturing relationships, creating content and telling stories through a collaborative environment. Validation comes through third-party endorsements or media stories/articles and endorsements generated from community engagement.
East is adept at working with the media, creating social media campaigns and reaching target audiences through a variety of tactics customized for each client. Key projects include: public relations consultant to Consolidated Edison Renewable Energy Business (formerly Sempra Renewables); public relations support for Renown Health public relations lead on activities for a number of key initiatives for Renown including crisis communications, nurses’ union, leadership changes; leading the public relations program for Nevada’s Sesquicentennial carrying out Governor Sandoval’s vision for a year-long celebration; and hosting President Obama for a presidential policy announcement while working with the White House Advance Team and Press Corps.
East is the first female sportsman to serve on the Governor-appointed Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners and the body’s first Chairwoman.
Dedicated to professional development, Tiffany earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America in June of 2016.
