The Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA) announces the appointment of Deborah Kotrady, RN, as a clinical education nurse for REMSA and Care Flight. In this role, Kotrady is responsible for conducting education and orientation seminars for REMSA and Care Flight’s new nurse education program.

We’re excited to leverage her expertise in various forms of nursing and education to enhance the skill of our teams.”
Prior to joining REMSA, Kotrady served in a number of critical care roles in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and adult and pediatric emergency at Level I trauma centers. She’s also worked with aeromedical transport programs providing pediatric and adult transportation. Most recently, she worked for Yale New Haven Health Systems in Connecticut as a member of the Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team.
In her past positions, Kotrady has led efforts in education, and development of orientation programs, preceptor programs and protocols. In her new role as clinical education nurse, she will work with the REMSA and Care Flight teams to develop evidence-based education in alignment with national standards for REMSA and Care Flight nurses, paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
