(September 7, 2022 – Reno, Nev.) Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada (CCNN) is pleased to announce that the organization has recently hired Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Andrea Glick as the director of Poverty Mitigation Initiatives. Glick previously worked at CCNN as a program manager, gaining valuable experience on social welfare policy and program development.
As the Poverty Mitigation Initiatives director, Glick will implement holistic solutions addressing generational poverty and the needs of the most vulnerable population in Northern Nevada. She is developing an evidence-based homeless prevention program that removes barriers, improves access to vital resources, and joins families on their journey to economic self-sufficiency.
“We are so happy to have Andrea back on our team,” CEO Marie Baxter said. “She is a valuable asset to Catholic Charities with great ideas to further our mission and help those less fortunate in Northern Nevada.”
