As a longtime teacher and school administrator, Kat Stokes believes in students learning power. Add support from faculty, parents and community, and education soars.
Stokes takes over as high school principal for the 2022-23 school year at Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School, Nevada’s largest private school, ready to forge the connections and networks to help intellects thrive.
“I love building relationships and meeting new people,” said Stokes. “And I’m counting the blessings God grants me daily.”
Stokes began her education career in Phoenix, serving first as a high school English teacher, later as a high school administrator. She earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University.
“We are so excited that Kat Stokes has joined the Faith Family,” said Faith Lutheran CEO Dr. Steve Buuck. “Her leadership abilities and passion for students and Christian education will serve us well as we continue to strive to be one of the nation’s best schools.”
School starts Monday, Aug. 8. Faith will have a record 2,050 students.
