LAS VEGAS – De Castroverde Law Group’s culture includes giving credit where it is due through its twice-yearly teacher appreciation award. Too often, great teachers go unrecognized for the hard work and dedication they pour into the classroom.
Starting now through Sept. 23, the firm is accepting nominations from current students, former students and parents for its Fall 2022 Teacher Appreciation Award, given to teachers who have had an enormous impact on their students, leaving an impression that will last, or has lasted, way beyond graduation.
We know that recognition is a very rewarding and motivating experience for teachers and their students,” said firm partner Orlando De Castroverde. “Teachers educate our youth, who in turn become the leaders of the next generation, and need assistance in creating a positive learning environment for themselves and the students they teach.”
Prizes include:
· Grand prize: $750 for classroom supplies, plus a $250 Amazon gift card.
· Runner Up: $500 for classroom supplies, plus a $200 Amazon gift card.
· Honorable mention: $250 in classroom supplies, plus a $100 Amazon gift card.
To nominate a teacher in grades K-12, please fill out the short form located here. The contest is open to all educators who teach in Clark County. Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 23, 2022, with winners announced in October.
