CAMCO of Nevada, a community management leader in the Silver State, has promoted Bree McRae to Regional Director of its Portfolio Division. McRae previously served as Division Coordinator for the Portfolio Division. In this role, she oversaw properties transitioning into the CAMCO portfolio from previous management companies. In her new position, she will train, oversee and support all managers in the Portfolio Division.
“Bree has been an exceptional team member,” said CAMCO’s Vice President of its Portfolio Division, Cyndi Koester. “I have watched her grow over the past four years from a provisional manager to division coordinator. Her willingness to jump into any task that is presented to her and excel beyond has allowed her to grow with the company. Bree has stepped up to the plate to take on this new role as regional director to help support our team and show her leadership skills.”
About five years ago McRae worked as a general manager in the food service industry. Looking for a new opportunity, she applied to CAMCO in the summer of 2017 and was quickly hired. She began as an assistant and quickly earned her provisional manager license. After two years, she moved into her previous coordinator position.
“When I first started, I was actually not aware of how much I would really love this industry. People call with a frustration or problem and it’s so satisfying to hang up the phone knowing you have helped them,” McRae said. “This new role allows me to train others, too, and I look forward to seeing people grow and enjoy those new career accomplishments.”
McRae is on the board of the Nevada Association of Community Managers and has served as a past president. She also founded CAMCO’s spirit committee, which holds employee and community events and gatherings, and oversees all of CAMCO’s charitable efforts.
CAMCO, one of the largest and most respected community management companies in the state, manages more than 300 HOAs in Nevada. To learn more, visit camconevada.com or search for @CAMCONevada on Facebook.
