RENO, Nev. (July 12, 2022) – The Club at ArrowCreek is excited to introduce new Director of Agronomy, David Diver. Diver brings more than 28 years experience in golf course management across the country and will assist in The Club’s efforts to continually improve the conditions at ArrowCreek.
A native of Coffeyville, Kans., Diver started as a summer laborer at Four Oaks Golf Course in Pittsburg, Kans. After earning his bachelors from Pittsburg State University, Diver accepted a position with Forest Hills Country Club in Chesterfield, Mo. to pursue his passion of maintaining golf courses to their highest level.
While working, he completed the Professional Turf Management program at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Upon completion, he assumed the Assistant Superintendent position with Forest Hills Country Club before heading west to Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.
Diver previously served as Director of Agronomy at Coyote Springs Golf Course in Coyote Springs, Nev. His professional experience also includes Lead Superintendent at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Director of Grounds and Golf Course Maintenance at Barton Creek in Austin, Tex., and most recently Superintendent at SouthShore Country Club in Henderson, Nev.
The hiring of Diver comes after The Club finished a $60 million renovation project that includes a 40,000 square foot clubhouse extension, expanded and renovated amenities, new food and beverage venues and much more.
