LAS VEGAS, NV—Jewish Nevada, a nonprofit organization that serves as the representative organization for more than 70,000 Jews in Nevada, will be hosting its “Nevada Mission to Israel” for the first time in over a decade. Taking place June 7 – 15, 2023, this mission will allow 200 Nevada participants to experience Israel with local community members, get in touch with their Jewish heritage, and celebrate Jewish and Israeli culture.
Participants will have the chance to pick from three to five different tracks for each day of the mission to cater to what they are looking to experience while visiting the homeland. Options include different tours of historic landsites, Yad Vashem, memorials, and synagogues, scheduled community meals, family tours, people-to-people community programs in our partnership Region of Ramat HaNegev, and an array of group activities in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
“We are overjoyed to be able to bring back our ‘Nevada Mission to Israel’ program in time to celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday,” said Jewish Nevada President and CEO Stefanie Tuzman. “With the rise in antisemitism locally and around the world, it is more important now than ever to show solidarity and provide opportunities for our local Nevada Jewish community to create bonds with the people of Israel as well as their fellow Nevadans.”
Included in the costs are VIP airport services, eight nights at a luxury hotel, daily Israeli buffet breakfasts, most lunches and dinners, security, nine days of touring in deluxe air-conditioned motor coaches with leading Israeli tour guides, and entrance fees for all included activities. Registration is open to all ages, with prices varying within the package selected. Discounted rates apply to all who sign up before July 31, 2022.
