Members of the public are invited to partake in this two-day event featuring cultural musical performances, food trucks and vendors
Las Vegas, NV – The College of Southern Nevada in partnership with the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation presents two days of “Juneteenth Powwow” celebrating our local African American and Native American communities on Friday June 10 and Saturday June 11 at the Student Union on the West Charleston CSN campus.
From a hip hop music performance to Powwow drums and dancing, these two-day festivities are filled with cultural celebrations, messages of unity, encouragement and reflections on history. The events will also feature food trucks, Native American and African American vendors and various musical performances. Members of the community are invited to attend and take in the cultural festivities and learn about the historical significance of the Juneteenth celebrations.
