CAMCO (Complete Association Management Company) Nevada has promoted Tabitha Gerken from Regional Manager of its Southern Nevada Portfolio Division to Director of the division. Gerken was promoted to the regional manager role in September 2021, according to CAMCO Portfolio Division Vice President, Cyndi Koester, who also said it was a good time for the long-time property management professional to embrace a bigger role at the company.
“Tabitha has excelled in her position and was ready to take on new responsibilities with her leadership skills. She is an asset to our team as a mentor and she takes the time to work with all of our community managers to help them grow and excel,” Koester said.
Gerken joined CAMCO in 2018 as a community manager and was quickly promoted to a division coordinator role, before being promoted to regional director of the Southern Nevada Portfolio division. Now, as director, she will oversee a team of 19 community managers, nine administrative assistants, the regional managers and a satellite office manager, who have all helped CAMCO become the largest manager of HOAs in the state. That distinction was earned earlier this year, when according to Nevada Real Estate Division records, the company topped 300 communities managed.
“I am excited to continue working with my team of amazing individuals, and doing the best job possible with them,” Gerken said. “They all work incredibly hard and I am proud to work with each of them.”
Gerken has served the Nevada HOA industry since 2008 and was initially hired in the industry as a staff accountant for single family and condominium communities. She later advanced to a senior staff accountant role in high-rise and large-scale communities. She obtained her Community Manager license in 2015 and today has a Supervising Community Manager license as well. She also holds a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation from the Community Association Institute (CAI).
