SafeNest is off to the races!
SafeNest, Nevada’s largest, most comprehensive nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence in Clark County, will nod to horse racing’s Run for the Roses and raise money for critical survivor services and programs with its Spring Soiree on May 7.
The Spring Soiree, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Four Seasons, 2960 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will feature a welcome reception at 10 a.m. and brunch at 11 a.m. Because the party is on Kentucky Derby Day, the soiree’s theme will borrow from race tradition. Patrons will be encouraged to dress in Churchill Downs-style attire — big hats and bow ties.
The event will include several raffle prizes including a luxury Florida beach vacation, a two-night staycation at the Four Seasons, two tickets to the Raiders/Cardinals home game at Allegiant Stadium, and tickets to see the Las Vegas Aviators at the Las Vegas Ballpark.
A VIP afterparty, featuring cigar rolling, bourbon tasting and a live Kentucky Derby viewing, will follow the main event.
Event sponsors include the Raiders, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Bank of George, and United Healthcare.
