NEVADA – The campaign team for Debra March announced today the receipt of the National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy (NLPOAA) endorsement for Lieutenant Governor. With chapters located throughout the United States, the National Latino Peace Officers Association aims to promote equality and professionalism within law enforcement. The NLPOAA is committed to this mission and endorsing candidates for political office who align with their values to promote the social welfare of law enforcement, including best practices, diversity and community relations.
“What a sincere honor it is to receive this endorsement from the NLPOAA for Lieutenant Governor,” said Debra March. “As a former peace officer and park ranger and the daughter of a police officer, I am moved by this honor. I know that it would have made my parents proud, just as it makes me proud to be recipient of this advocacy endorsement.”
March announced her run for Nevada Lieutenant Governor for the 2022 race in December 2021. She currently serves as the Mayor of Henderson since 2017 where her responsibilities have primarily included setting policies and making decisions for Nevada’s local government. Under her leadership Henderson has earned recognition as one of the safest cities and best places to live in the nation and a premier location for business. March also serves as Chairwoman for the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada board of commissioners, Chairwoman of the Clark County Regional Flood Control District board of Directors and Chairwoman of Southern Nevada Strong.
“It is my pleasure to congratulate Debra March on receiving the NLPOA Advocacy endorsement for Lieutenant Governor,” said Noé Larios, treasurer of NLPOA Advocacy Clark County Chapter. “This endorsement reflects NLPOAA’s commitment to support candidates who care about our men and women in blue and the policies surrounding law enforcement. On behalf of our member charters, we are pleased to endorse Debra March’s run for Lieutenant Governor.”
