[Northern Nevada team joins Las Vegas division of CAMCO for team-building fun again after two-year hiatus]
With a decline in COVID-19 cases, many businesses are bringing back some of their previous in-person activities. That’s certainly the case for CAMCO (Complete Association Management Company), which has now re-started its annual in-person team-building activity.
After a two-year break due to COVID, CAMCO hosted its Northern Nevada team, along with Apogee Management Corp staff at its Las Vegas office on March 31, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a day of team-building fun.
“We’re a close group, and we’ve really missed our annual gatherings for the past two years,” said Nicole Noghrehkar, an association manager with CAMCO. “Our business is all about connecting with people, and we need that face-to-face interaction. It also serves as a great reminder of our company values and positive work culture.”
More than 100 company employees participated at the CAMCO Nevada office, 4775 W. Teco Avenue, in Las Vegas. In addition, CAMCO vendors were on hand to host a lunch, donate raffle prizes and participate in activities.
Teams of six or seven employees comprised of members from different offices competed in games like Family Feud, Disney trivia, Pictionary, Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right and Survivor. Each team was dressed to match the theme of one of the games as well. The top three point-earning teams won prizes, and there were also prizes for “best dressed” and “best spirit,” among others.
“Our employees also enjoy the friendly competition and the chance to work alongside people they don’t see daily. This event builds bonds, trust and puts a name to a face for calls and virtual meetings, too,” Noghrehkar added.
