Program to disburse funds in COVID Relief Forgivable Loan and Specialized Business Coaching
The City of North Las Vegas and Prestamos CDFI, a division of Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), come together to provide much needed access to capital and personalized business coaching with the North Las Vegas Small Business Stabilization Forgivable Loan. The goal is to elevate struggling small businesses in their road to recovery post-pandemic and walk along with business owners in their path to success with comprehensive resources.
The program has funds available to assist small businesses up to 25K in search of economic relief due to difficulties in these times. To qualify, a North Las Vegas business must demonstrate revenue reduction in 2020 or 2021 compared to 2019, including any grants or other forgivable loans they have received (ex. PPP loans). The number of employees must be fewer than 20 with priority given to businesses with 5 or fewer employees and the business must be a for-profit business.
In addition, Prestamos CDFI will provide free consulting services to provide support to business owners. From messaging to cost projections, the Prestamos CDFI business consultants can help businesses keep their doors open. Bilingual experts can support busy business owners with individual sessions that will help facilitate website building; provide processes and procedure solutions to streamline operations; ignite business development; give financial and accounting assistance; and grow their content development across social media.
