Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada has created the perfect grown-up version of Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket to help raise needed funds for its valuable financial literacy programs for local K-12 students. The nonprofit organization is assembling six great prize packages and is now selling tickets for its Golden Ticket Raffle. Items are still being added to complete the packages that are expected to include adventure, collectibles and memorabilia, dining, hospitality, entertainment and sporting events, wine and miscellaneous.

One of the more extraordinary prizes is the ZERO-G Experience©. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be weightless and float like an astronaut by flying in a specially modified Boeing 77. More information about this package is here, as well as Al Roker’s own airborne experience as seen on the Today Show.
Some of the other current items include: tickets for Raiders and Vegas Golden Knights games, two tickets for a Killers concert and meet-and-greet, two-night staycation at the Cosmopolitan with dining and spa, dinner for eight cooked by firefighters of Station 51, and lunch for two with Raiders fullback Alec Ingold, who has partnered with Junior Achievement for his Money Mini Camp financial education video series for students.
There are two types of tickets. Exclusive tickets are $100 for the chance to win one of the three packages with a value of at least $5,000. VIP tickets are $25 to win one of the three packages with a value of at least $1,000.
Raffle tickets will continue to be sold until the drawing on May 31, 2022. The six winners will be notified to claim their packages.
