[Mark your calendars for this Feb. 25 cookie sales event with a goal of 110 donated boxes to acknowledge and support frontline healthcare workers]
Las Vegas Girl Scout Troop #760 wants to show its appreciation to emergency room workers during its annual fundraising effort this spring.
Two troop members, Mylee and Emilee McLaughlin, have partnered with CAMCO (Complete Association Management Company) Nevada for a cookie sale on Feb. 25th at the CAMCO offices at 4775 West Teco Avenue, in Las Vegas, from 9 a.m. to noon.
This drive, however, does more than support the Girl Scouts of America. The McLaughlin sisters are asking buyers to purchase an additional donated box of cookies for every box bought. The goal is to reach 110 additional donated boxes, which will all be delivered to the Summerlin Hospital’s emergency room staff. You can also purchase cookies virtually. Both Emilee and Mylee have their own digital cookie sites.
“It’s great to see our youth acknowledging and celebrating the efforts of our community’s healthcare workers,” said Mary Rendina, CAMCO’s marketing director “These enthusiastic scouts are motivated to reach their goal. So, if you love Girl Scout cookies, this is a great cause!”
