RENO, Nev. – The 2022 Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF) Board of Directors announces the selection of executive officers and names three new board members to the organization charged with championing the needs of local women and children. Since 1983, NWF has awarded more than $8.4 million in grants and educational scholarships to women throughout northern Nevada.
Executive officers serving a one-year term include board chair Sarah Crumby, CPA for Cupit, Milligan, Ogden & Williams, CPAs; vice-chair Jill Johnson, director of communications at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School; treasurer Karen Purcell, principal owner of PK Electrical, Inc.; recorder Marge Millar, business manager for Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful; and immediate past chair Jamie Gazza, senior vice president and senior gaming director for Nevada State Bank.
The three new members to NWF’s board of directors are: Erica Mirich, executive director of Truckee Meadows Tomorrow; Katie Silva, director of communications and digital marketing for Peppermill Resort Spa Casino; and Sarah Sommers, vice president of human resources and training at Elemental LED, Inc.
All members of the board serve staggered six-year terms. Additional current board members include:

Whitten, president and founder of Soulful Seeds; Elizabeth Hutson, M.D. Gynecologist/Urogynecologist, owner of My Women’s Center; Emily Farren-Wieczorek, co-founder of Ashley & Emily (formerly Two Peas in a Prada) lifestyle blog; Gretchen Sawyer, executive director of the TMCC Foundation; Jamii Uboldi, director of marketing & communications at Northern Nevada Medical Center; Jen Eastwood, director of public relations at Foundry; Katie Nannini, manager of community relations at NV Energy; Kelly Corrigan, director of marketing with runner & sponsor relations Race178; Kendra Jepsen, attorney at law at Simons Hall Johnston PC; Norma Seltz, higher education/marriage and family therapist; Olivia Baugh, M.D., medical director at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center; Pam Czyz, loan coordinator at Northpointe Bank; Randy Brown, director of regulatory & legislative affairs at AT&T; and Viki A. Windfeldt, executive director of Nevada State Board of Accountancy.
The role of the board is to provide support and direction to the organization. In addition, board members serve as representatives on five working committees including allocations, board leadership, development, finance & investments and marketing.
For nearly four decades, NWF has focused on helping women reach their full potential by bringing together the local community’s intellectual, emotional and financial resources to empower women for today and tomorrow.
