Many hospice and palliative care patients miss out on the joy and fellowship of the holidays. This season, though, Southwest Medical Hospice Care is working with partners to deliver holiday cheer to hundreds of patients and caregivers throughout the community.
To make the holidays a little brighter for hospice and palliative care patients throughout the Valley, Southwest Medical Hospice Care is teaming up with Boyd Gaming and the Veterans Group of Regency (VGOR), a community group of United States Military Veteran homeowners and friends living at Regency at Summerlin, to make the holidays a little brighter for hospice and palliative care patients throughout the Las Vegas area.
Between them, they will assemble and deliver holiday gift baskets and meals to hundreds of hospice and palliative care patients and caregivers around the community on Christmas Day, many of whom are veterans of our nation’s armed services. Southwest Medical Hospice Care previously partnered with Boyd Gaming to pack and deliver Thanksgiving meals for these patients, as well.
