NCET, Northern Nevada’s largest member-supported non-profit that provide educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology, announced their full slate of December informational and networking events.
NCET‘s Tech Wednesdays take you behind the scenes each month to a local company or organization that makes or uses innovative technologies. The Abbi Agency is hosting NCET’s December event, which will commence on Wednesday, December 8 from 3 – 5 p.m. Attendees will see first-hand how an award-winning integrated marketing firm ticks and the various departments that make up a creative agency, including public relations, social media, website design, media buying and graphic design. Tickets are $20 for NCET members and $30 for non-members, and advanced reservation is required. More information can be found at: https://www.ncet.org/ncet-event-calendar/abbi-agency.
NCET’s Biz Cafés feature local thought leaders that present informational talks on a wide variety of topics, from soft skills to hard science. The December Biz Café event features Alexanne Stone, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming and body language trainer. A decorated Vietnam-era veteran and best-selling author, Stone will teach attendees about “the unseen language of leadership,” delving deep into the topic of leveraging body language to become better communicators. She will help answer questions such as, “Is your reality really real?” and “Will pictures, sounds and feelings change your success?” This event will take place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on Wednesday, December 15 from 2 – 4 pm. Admission is free of charge with advanced registration at: https://www.ncet.org/ncet-event-calendar/unseen-language-of-leadership.
