Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) is proud to announce their recent recognition in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards. Coral Academy received gold designations in the categories of Best Elementary School, Best Middle School, and Best High School and earned a silver designation for Best Charter School.
“We are honored to be recognized as winners in four categories for the Best of Las Vegas Awards this year,” said Ercan Aydogdu, executive director for CASLV. “CASLV is committed to providing our students with a top-quality STEM education through challenging and rigorous curriculum. We are grateful not only for the votes of the community, but the dedication of our teachers and staff and the hard work of our exceptional students that made these awards possible.”
This is the second year that CASLV has been awarded gold for Best Elementary School and Best Middle School and the third year CASLV has received a gold designation for Best High School in the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Previous recognitions include: 2017 silver for Best Charter School and Best Middle School, 2017 bronze for Best Elementary School, 2018 silver for Best Charter School, 2019 silver for Best Charter School, and 2020 gold for Best Charter School.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has been conducting the Best of Las Vegas awards since 1981 and this year marks its 40th edition. There were over 400 nomination categories in this year’s contest making it the largest version in the contest’s history.
