Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent), a full-service environmental, water resource and civil engineering firm, is proud to announce its five-year commitment to be a sponsor for Note-Able Music Therapy Services in Reno.
“We are proud to partner with an organization that provides a variety of opportunities within our community, said Matt Herrick, principal hydrogeologist, divisional manager. “We learned of the Note-Ables through our client Ormat Technologies and are grateful to them for the introduction.”
Founded almost 20 years ago, the Note-Ables is a group of professional musicians who shatter the stereotype that people with disabilities have limited talents and abilities. The group first met in April 1999, when they started jamming and writing their own songs together. By that summer they had started playing small gigs in the Reno/Sparks area and have since expanded to performing 30-40 gigs a year.
