NCET, Northern Nevada’s largest member-supported non-profit that provide educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology, announced their full slate of November events.
NCET ‘s Tech Wednesdays take you behind the scenes each month to a local company or organization that makes or uses innovative technologies. NCET’s November event takes place on Wednesday, November 10 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Renown Health Transfer and Operations Center. Attendees will get an inside look into the operations command center that coordinates all incoming patients, emergency and disaster management, patient transfers and more. November’s NCET Biz Café features Milena Regos, founder of Unhustle, “a counterculture movement to revolutionize the way we live, work and play to create sustainable success without stress & burnout, combining principles from neuroscience, mindfulness, and flow.” Regos, an award-winning marketer turned entrepreneur, will teach about five simple science-based strategies to increase mindful productivity. Attendees will gain practical tips, backed up by science to increase your energy, avoid decision fatigue, and increase capacity to get things done without increasing the number of hours worked. NCET will host its 6th Annual State of Digital Marketing on Thursday, November 11 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., featuring a panel of digital marketing experts and moderated by Abbi Whitaker of The Abbi Agency and Jarrod Lopiccolo of Noble Studios. The panelists will share tips on how to build personalized messaging, search engine optimization, using video cost-effectively, leveraging local online reviews and using social media scheduling tools. This NCET Special Event will take place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, and pre-registration is required for admission. Tickets are $45 for NCET members and $55 for non-members.
