Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent) is pleased to announce Will Wiggins as the new water/wastewater Division Manager at their Las Vegas office. Most recently serving as a Senior Geologist and Water/Wastewater Operator for Broadbent, Will holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Broadbent, Will worked for the National Park Service as a biological technician and the US Forest Service as a wildland firefighter.
“Will Wiggins has been a key part of our success at Broadbent and we are delighted to promote him into this new role that will further his capabilities and skillset,” said Kirk Stowers, Principal Geologist at Broadbent. “Will has proven to display impeccable leadership capabilities many times over and we are confident that he will continue to help us provide safe and sustainable water to our clients in his new role as Division Manager.”
Will’s responsibilities as Division Manager will include supervising a team of five water/wastewater professionals while communicating with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure drinking water safety. Key responsibilities will also include routine sampling of potable water systems, system operations and maintenance, regulatory reporting and the preparation of plans and manuals.
Will is certified as an Environmental Manager in Nevada and holds drinking water and wastewater operator certifications in Nevada and Arizona. He is also an active member of the Air and Waste Management Association. In his personal time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and children in the great outdoors. His interests include 4-wheeling, camping, fishing, and bladesmithing.
