Report compares district and charter schools throughout Nevada and
lists 9 CASLV elementary and middle school campuses.
LAS VEGAS – U.S. News & World Report has ranked four of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) campuses in the top 10 of elementary and middle schools in Nevada. According to the report, CASLV Tamarus campus ranked #1 and CASLV Windmill campus ranked #9 out of 389 elementary schools. Out of 156 middle schools in Nevada, CASLV Eastgate campus ranked #6 and CASLV Sandy Ridge campus ranked #7 out of 156 middle schools. The report, which compared district and charter schools throughout Nevada, also included six other CASLV campuses.

U.S. News & World Report included six other CASLV campuses in the report. Compared to other district and charter schools in Nevada, CASLV elementary campuses were ranked: #25 Eastgate, #61 Centennial and #212 Nellis AFB. Meanwhile, it’s middle schools were ranked: #19 Centennial Hills and #28 Nellis AFB.
The U.S. News Best Elementary and Middle School Rankings are evaluated by several factors which include reading and math proficiency scores. All of the CASLV Tamarus, Eastgate, Sandy Ridge and Windmill campuses tested as more proficient in reading and math than other students across Nevada.
