NCET, Northern Nevada’s member-supported non-profit providing educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology announced their full slate of events for October, including the return of the Small Business Expo which returns following a COVID-19 pause in 2020.
NCET Tech Wednesday, October 13, will be at the studios of PBS Reno, formerly KNPB, for networking and a behind-the-scenes tour of their new digital control room and production studio. October’s Biz Bites luncheon is on October 27 and features Kevin Ciccotti’s presentation of Cultivating an Unshakeable Mindset. Kevin is a world-class personal coach and helps and trains leaders round the world. Returning from a year off is the 15th annual Small Business Exo on Friday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mt. Rose Ballroom at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The NCET Small Business Expo is Northern Nevada’s largest and oldest business-to-business expo. The annual expo provides business owners an opportunity to network with more than 1,000 businesspeople, meet up to 100 exhibitors and learn from six different educational sessions. Admission is free with the presentation of a business card and no pre-registration is needed.
