LAS VEGAS — The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Southern Nevada is hosting its first Halloween Costume Drive through October to benefit Dr. C. Owen Roundy Elementary School.
NAWBO hopes to brighten the Halloween experience for children at the Title 1 school. The Title 1 program is available to schools with a student base where at least 40 percent come from low-income families.
According to Yuan-Fen Lai, chair for the NAWBO Southern Nevada Community Relations Committee (and a Financial Services Professional Agent, New York Life Insurance Company) NAWBO Southern Nevada has compiled an Amazon Wish List of costumes requested by Roundy students at https://amzn.to/3tMUpk6.
Costumes range in price from less than $20 to just under $35.
When checking out on Amazon.com, those interested in donating should select to have the costume sent to NAWBO Chapter President Sonia Petkewich’s gift registry address, or drop costumes off in person at any of three locations by October 15:
· New York Life, 6325 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 400, in Las Vegas
· Taurean Consulting Group, 5215 Ponderosa Way, Suite D, in Las Vegas
· First Savings Bank, 1700 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 101, in Henderson
