LAS VEGAS —Western Elite, one of Nevada’s largest recycling companies, announced today the opening of its first waste and recycling facility in Henderson. The Henderson Transfer Station, which opened its doors June 2021, is located at 691 W. Warm Springs Road, near Highway 95 and Sunset Road.
The new Henderson Transfer Station provides operational cost savings for Western Elite’s roll-off dumpster business in the Henderson community by placing this center closer to customers. It will also give additional access to commercial and other haulers to dispose of construction and demolition waste. As recycling continues to be at the forefront in helping the environment, Western Elite is meeting a higher demand in this area by developing these facilities.
“We are incredibly excited to be opening the Henderson Transfer Station and offering the valley another location to make their waste disposal services easier to access,” said Western Elite Vice President Scott Seastrand. “It will be the first of its kind in the processing of recyclables from construction and demolition waste in Henderson.”
The 60,000 square-foot processing area will handle incoming materials to separate recyclables from waste to divert the materials from landfills. The new location will bring the number of Western Elite’s processing facilities in the valley to three.
