HENDERSON, Nev. – Prominent Henderson attorney, Steve Rice announced his intent today to run for the City of Henderson Ward 3 Council seat currently held by John Marz.
I have worked hard throughout my career and dedicated myself to my profession,” Rice said. “But I have reached a stage in my life where, although this is not a totally natural choice for me, I feel passionate about giving back to the community I love, where I raised my children, lived a good life and where I can make a difference.”
Steve Rice was born and raised in Southern Nevada and first moved to Henderson in 1996. He attended Chaparral High School and then UNLV, first as a music major on scholarship and then as an accounting major in the College of Business. He received his Master of Law in Taxation from the University of San Diego. In 2004, he founded his namesake law firm and he continues to work as a leading commercial real estate and business attorney.
