CARSON CITY, Nev. – The results of the February 2021 Nevada bar examination were released have been released. The Nevada State Bar received 253 applications to sit for the February 2021 exam, with 152 applicants receiving a passing score. The pass rate for this bar examination was 60%. Nevada Supreme Court will host a virtual swearing-in ceremony and an in-person swearing-in ceremony to administer the Oath of Attorney to new Nevada attorneys. The virtual swearing-in ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m., Friday May 14, 2021, and will be live webcast on the Nevada Supreme Court website at www.nvcourts.gov/supreme. The in-person swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, Rooms N245-N251, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 3:30 p.m.

The Supreme Court of Nevada is the highest court of the Judicial branch. There are seven Justices on the court who are elected to six-year terms, including one Chief Justice. The court’s primary responsibility is to review and rule on appeals from District Court cases and determine if legal or procedural errors were committed during the case.
