Created during the 2019-2020 academic school year, the Eric Lyons Memorial Scholarship was created by CASLV to honor Eric Lyons who passed away in March of 2020. While attending school, Eric Lyons underwent numerous treatments and trials to treat a brain tumor that was discovered when he was in third grade. Even though Eric was fighting an extremely difficult battle, he never let his illness impact his love for learning, his friendships or his relationships with CASLV teachers.
