NAIOP Southern Nevada presents “If You Build It, Will They Come? A Haas Story. The Evolution of Manufacturing in Southern Nevada.” The program will be moderated by Betsy Fretwell, senior vice president of Switch CITIES and appointed chairwoman of LVGEA. Speakers include Peter Zierhut, vice president of outside operations for Haas Automation, and Xavier Wasiak, senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle Industrial and Logistics. The meeting is sponsored by KNIT.
This is the second in a series of programs delving into highlights from the “Developers Roundtable” discussion from NAIOP Southern Nevada’s January breakfast program. The discussion surrounding economic development in Southern Nevada is not a new topic. However, the means of developing essential growth sectors is a complex and dynamic issue. For the first time, the local development community will have an opportunity to receive an inside perspective on one of these new sectors – manufacturing. This program highlights the story of Haas Automation, the evolution of what brings manufacturing to Southern Nevada and the implications this has on our future.
