LAS VEGAS — Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill®) is proud to announce the addition of Andrew Gackenbach as the new vice president of retail. Gackenbach brings more than 11 years of experience working for Goodwill Industries International to the position. He formerly served as the innovation and growth manager and international development manager. In his time with the organization, he has been instrumental in global expansion, playing a key role in building a presence in Latin America and opening the first Goodwill retail store in Brazil.

In his role as vice president of retail, Gackenbach will oversee all retail operations for Goodwill of Southern Nevada. He will provide leadership and strategy to facilitate expansion in the department and will oversee the execution of retail operations initiatives to increase profitability across the organization’s 17 stores and ecommerce with shopgoodwill.com, e-bay, and Amazon.
Gackenbach was born in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland College Park, earning bachelor’s degrees in economics and Spanish. He subsequently earned his MBA and a master’s degree in theology and spent 10 years living abroad in Brazil, Mexico and Columbia. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer and spending time with his family.
