CARSON CITY, Nev. – In Plain Sight Marketing LLC public relations and account specialist, Elizabeth Pearson has earned the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
The entry-level certificate administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB) is awarded to recent graduates of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) to demonstrate their proficiency in the public relations field.

Elizabeth’s hard work in pursuing her credential and her dedication to her craft is a wonderful contribution to our agency’s tradition of following the PRSA tenets of ethical, knowledgeable and transparent communications, as well as excellence in strategic planning on behalf of our clients.”
Pearson graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno’s Reynolds School of Journalism in May 2020 where she was recognized as the Outstanding Advertising Student of the year. She joined the IPSM team in August as a public relations coordinator.
“Earning my certificate has been a long-term goal of mine,” Pearson said. “I am grateful I had the opportunity to further my knowledge and sharpen my skills in the public relations field. After starting my career in public relations, I see the importance of understanding the process and history of this field.”
She is the tenth RSJ graduate to earn their CPPR. During her time at the RSJ she participated in the 2019 Bateman Case Study Competition team and the 2020 National Student Advertising Competition team. She also served as vice president of digital communications for the PRSSA Nevada Chapter.
