JB Public Relations, a local PR agency, is offering to assist with complimentary public relations advice and service during the COVID-19 PANDEMIC as adapting to restrictions, closures and messaging has been a challenge for many small businesses. JB Public Relations hopes to be an advocate for those Vegas locally owned companies and help them share their voice, COVID safety protocols and creative promotions, during this time, such as gift cards, online giving, curbside events, pop up shops, clinics and more.
JB Public Relations offers public and community relations for several industries, restaurants, retail, law, healthcare, commercial real estate, and charitable organizations in Las Vegas, and wishes to donate their expertise to assist other small businesses in this critical time and Governor Sisolak’s extension of capacity and new restrictions thru January 15, 2021.
“Vegas is our home. Normally, this time of year, we are spreading the word with people donating their time, food and services. This has been a continuous trying year for our small businesses, who have struggled while transitioning with ever changing capacity mandates, closures and being innovative with creative events, (such as online cooking demos). We have such a strong and unified community and I wanted to do my part too. As a Vegas resident of 22 years, it makes me so proud to live here. It has been a very stressful year in every industry…from public and mental health, real estate with evictions, mom and pops, retail, and the daily taxing toll on our incredible heroes and healthcare workers.” said JB Public Relations Owner, Jennifer Bradley. “I feel it is my obligation, to be a voice of what is happening, whether it’s new Government-related restrictions, healthcare updates, new creative promotions or an event that can support a charity or a local business. We are all shifting gears, usually last minute, and our communication. This year, we have seen more partnerships…my favorite part of the day is sharing these collaborations and the community giving.”
Recently, Bradley won the 2020 PR Practitioner of the Year with the Public Relations Society of America Las Vegas Chapter, with an emphasis on community work, such as, helping the Las Vegas Fashion Council Task Force, with donated masks and PPE and clothing drives, donating feminine hygiene products, with Project Marilyn, and public TV programming for distance learning. Collectively, they helped distribute 36,000 masks, 87,000 maxi pads and more than 300,000+ multimedia educational resources and reached more than 1 million people across social media platforms in 2020.
Additionally, prior to the pandemic, non-profit, Serving our Kids Foundation (SOK) served over 3500 children in 71 schools by delivering weekend meals directly to the schools every Friday. During the pandemic, SOK’s numbers have soared dramatically to over 4600 children from 185 local schools each and every week. During this time, SOK partnered with JB Public Relations’ client, THT Health and Alto Pharmacy (THT) to develop a weekend meal home delivery program. Another client who helped the community included Liberty Lock & Security, whose employees also used their trucks to deliver food and books donated from Spread the Word Nevada to kids.
In the past few months, Bradley gave a charitable social media presentation of how to adapt during the pandemic with Candlelighters and the Association Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Association and also recently partnered with both Stephanie Wilson and Jason Soto for the American Marketing Association and shared (via zoom) marketing and PR recommendations on how to promote during COVID.
Bradley is the PR strategist behind the statewide initiative of NEVADA T.I.E.S., the Task Force Initiative for Educator’s Safety and Screening, to promote the health and safety of staff, students, families, and communities by preventing the introduction and spread of COVID-19 in Nevada’s schools.
JB Public Relations has a wide variety of clients in the healthcare, hospitality, restaurant, amusement retail and real estate industries. Bradley encompasses 20 years of media relations and community relations experience in Las Vegas and each year, chooses a non-profit to assist pro-bono and chose Steven Tyler’s Janie’s Fund, who partners with Clark County Family Services for 2021. The agency currently represents clients such as Vegas PBS, Cowabunga Bay Waterpark, Boca Park Fashions, North Mesa Plaza, IREM 99 Las Vegas, CCIM of Southern Nevada, Roseman University Health Sciences, Clark County Medical Society, Clark County Medical Society Alliance, MEAD Law Group, Vegas PBS, Ignite Teen Treatment, Elemental Treatment, Eden Treatment, and several nonprofits including Volunteers in Medicine, Lolas Summerlin, Mead Law Group, Lion Habitat Ranch and more.
Owner and CEO, Jennifer Bradley, is the co-chair of the board for the American Cancer Society of Nevada and also serves on the boards for the Sunrise Children’s Foundation, Create a Change Now, Las Vegas, Las Vegas Fashion Council and the Better Business Bureau Board. Committed to the community, Bradley is also on the Women’s Executive Council and also recently recognized by the Las Vegas Metro Chamber with a Business Executive Award.
Bradley’s awards also include the NAWBO’s 2020, 2019 Women of Distinction Honoree, 2020 Top 20 Philanthropy Awards by Deluxe Version Magazine, 2019 PR/Marketing Agency of the Year by the Silver State Awards, and Humanitarian of the Year Award, and 40 Under 40 by Vegas Inc.
