What was your first job?
My first job was selling copiers; the position taught me that a strong work ethic and commitment to everything you do are the keys to success.
Who in your life has been instrumental to your success?
Bob Cabral, a seasoned CRE executive for the largest environmental engineering firm in the world. Working together for ten plus years, Bob’s advice, guidance and leadership style were instrumental in my career progression and growth as a leader.
What is your motto?
There is no “I” in “team.”
What do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be that I am a great husband, father, friend and colleague.
What career advice would you give to your teenage self?
My career advice to my younger self is, “Practice patience as you work your way up and climb the ladder.”
What is an issue currently facing your industry an outside observer might not be aware of?
An issue facing the CRE industry is the uncertainty surrounding offices–the future of office space will drastically change forever and there is a great deal of room for innovation.
What work project/event/ happening are you excited about in the next few months?
I’m thrilled to be on a committee sanctioned by the Commander of Nellis AFB to help save critical missions on the base.
If you had to live in another country for a year, which would you choose and why?
I would live in Italy; I love the food, culture and landscape and it is where many of my ancestors were from.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
My autobiography would be titled, “I Am Who I Am.”
What is the best moment of your career?
The best moment of my career to date was when I became the youngest partner in the nation at my former company.
What three words would you want your worst enemy to use when describing you?
Competitive, persuasive and unyielding.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
I love the sense of community that Nevadans foster and demonstrate.
