LAS VEGAS — For the first time in a prized multifamily destination, a culinary experience will be opening its doors this summer and bring both a classy and casual dining epicenter into a new, trend-setting development. Becca’s Restaurant & Lounge will be located inside a 21,000+-square-foot resort hall in Tuscan Highlands in the Southern Highlands community. It will offer an extensive menu for residents that will include homemade, Italian-inspired dishes, as well as vegetarian and Keto friendly menu, desserts and cocktails. Tuscan Highlands, Las Vegas’ newest resort-style, multifamily community, transforms the way people live.
With plans to open later this summer, Becca’s will be the focal point of this social living community, breathing life into its mantra of well-being, work-from-home atmosphere, and world-class, resort lifestyle. While it will be surrounded by unmatched multifamily living experiences, Becca’s will be the heart of the property and a main gathering place for residents and their guests.
The 9,500-square-foot haven for foodies and sports enthusiasts alike will offer a menu of scratch classics and fan favorites for Tuscan Highlands residents. An ultimate dining experience, Becca’s surrounding bistro-lit veranda and wine garden, complete with fire tables and an imported wine cart from Italy, overlooks Grove Beach Club, transporting diners to a beautiful Tuscan scene. Inside, lounge-style seating and 17 ultra HD TVs surround the restaurant, making it a premier destination to dine, view a sports game or enjoy an intimate evening with friends.
Industry leaders have teamed up for this endeavor including owner and creative leader, Winnie Schulman, and managing partner and marketing genius, Steven Kennedy. Kennedy holds an extensive background in the hospitality industry, including notable projects and concept creation/development with the Paris Hotel & Casino and Anheuser Bush, Virgin Hotel and Richard Branson and most recently the Vegas Knights and Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Summerlin. Chef Louie completes the trio and will take guests on a culinary journey with abundant delectable cuisine and activities, such as cooking classes.
With Chef Louie at the helm in the kitchen, Becca’s curated menu features his spin on a selection of homemade pizzas, fresh salads, pastas, bar-style finger foods, mouth-watering entrees, desserts, freshly baked pastries, and more – all incorporating organic herbs from Tuscan Highlands’ herb garden. Becca’s will also provide an array of nutritionally balanced items, such as seasonal salads and lighter fare in its Nano-Market that will be available for purchase. Patrons will select items through a QR-based menu and in-app ordering system. Meals will be served via to-go or through the property’s temperature-controlled food lockers, conveniently located on the second floor of the resort hall. All utensils and to-go boxes will be eco-friendly and disposable.
“Becca’s is an exciting venture for us and fits in perfectly with the ambiance of Tuscan Highlands,” said Schulman. “Our vision matches that of the community, and we are eager to provide wonderful dishes from Chef Louie, wine-tasting experiences, and a place to create lasting memories for our residents. It really is a dream come true.”
Chef Louie echoed her thoughts adding, “Winnie has put her heart and soul into every aspect of the restaurant, and I couldn’t be more honored to bring my passion and recipes to the kitchen. This isn’t your ordinary, everyday project – we’re finding new ways to serve our guests and support our community. There will be many celebrations ahead.”
Native of Brooklyn, New York, Chef joins the team with more than 20 years’ experience with projects spanning the country from Pennsylvania to Florida and Nevada. He practices ‘cooking from the heart’ while instilling strict, high standards of sanitization, safety and quality to every team member. His homemade recipes and hands-on approach to perfect every dish that passes through his kitchen is a testament to vast experience and fine-tuned skills.
Becca’s Restaurant & Lounge will be open daily, offering a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Residents will have a weekly Sunday brunch menu featuring continental classics like seasonal fruit, freshly baked treats, coffee and teas, as well as specialties such as buttermilk pancakes, Belgian waffles, crispy potatoes, sizzling bacon, make-your-own omelet stations and more.
