SEATTLE – Whittier Trust Company, an independent wealth management company serving high-net-worth families, individuals and foundations across the United States, has hired Regina Bellody as a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at the firm’s Northwest location, which serves both Seattle and Portland, Ore.
Bellody brings a diverse background in law, fund development, relationship management, grantmaking and philanthropy, and estate and charitable gift planning to Whittier Trust. Previously, Bellody held a leadership role at an internationally renowned medical research institute, where she worked with high net worth individuals and families, corporations, investors, and foundations to achieve their goals through the use of asset and estate gifts and trusts.
It was Whittier Trust’s unique and comprehensive wealth management platform and the ability to provide highly personalized investment, fiduciary, philanthropic, and family office services that drew her to this role.

Bellody graduated from Whittier Law School, summa cum laude, and holds a Certificate of Social Innovation from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy & Governance. She has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy professional designation from the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School of The American College of Financial Services. Bellody is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network, the Washington Planned Giving Council, and the Washington Women’s Foundation. She serves as the Governance Chair and Board Secretary for the Intiman Theatre and as a volunteer and advisor to numerous community organizations.
