Liberty Leavitt, candidate for CCSD School Board District A Trustee, is pleased to announce the endorsement of her campaign by the Vegas Chamber.
“It is an immense honor to be endorsed by the Vegas Chamber,” said Leavitt. “The Vegas Chamber understands the vital role that education plays in the expansion and continued growth of our community, and together, we can empower our students and help open doors to the vast amount of opportunities available within the Las Vegas valley.”
The Vegas Chamber is the largest business organization in Nevada, focused on providing businesses with tools to succeed and create jobs. The Chamber is comprised of various business leaders in the Las Vegas valley, ranging from large corporations to smaller, locally owned companies. Advocacy, accessibility and empowerment are some of the Vegas Chamber’s core values.
“Electing candidates who understand the critical challenges facing Nevada’s employers and entrepreneurs is essential to helping reignite our economy and create much-needed jobs,” says Hugh Anderson, chairman of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee.
Leavitt filed for candidacy on March 9 for Clark County School District Board Trustee to represent District A. District A encompasses southeastern Clark County including most of Henderson, Boulder City, Laughlin, and Searchlight. Leavitt’s platform is based on empowering schools, equity in education, and allocating more funding to classrooms.
