Company now making face coverings and has donated more than 10,000 to date in Southern Nevada
Quality Corrections & Inspections has recently pivoted their production to produce face coverings with great success to serve the community. “The coronavirus has impacted our city greatly and we wanted to do what we can to help,” Executive Vice President Randy Burk said.
As many local organizations and businesses were beginning to search for protective gear, the company made the pivot quickly. The sewing department had the talents and resources to produce masks in high volumes and began production in earnest. The company created a website at Vegasmasks.com for the public to purchase the locally made masks.
“Not only has this helped keep the lights on and employees on the payroll, but the company is donating five masks to local organizations in need for every 5-pack sold via the website,” said Burk. To date, more than 10,000 masks have already been donated in Southern Nevada as a result of the company’s efforts. Any local organizations serving immune compromised individuals in need are asked to reach out through our Vegasmasks.com website.
