Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School, Nevada’s largest not-for-profit school, will hold its annual spring open house from 9 a.m. to noon March 9 at the school’s 50-acre Summerlin campus, 2015 S. Hualapai Way. The event’s “Grow with Faith” theme will offer prospective students and their parents the opportunity to tour the campus, observe classes and meet administrators.
The open house, hosted on a day that the Clark County School District will be closed, will familiarize families with Faith Lutheran’s application protocols and showcase middle and high school student opportunities, including specialized academies, Faith’s award-winning Conservatory of Fine Arts and the Williams Research Greenhouse, powered by Switch. Student athletes can meet coaches and learn more about Faith’s championship level athletics program; the school offers 22 high school team sports, 16 middle school team sports and Nevada’s only high school and middle school hockey team.
The open house will offer fourth graders, fifth graders and prospective transfer students from other schools the opportunity to register for a shadow experience to attend classes with a Faith student ambassador. Parents may attend the event while their student shadows or drop off and pick up their student during assigned times.
Faith Lutheran’s Admissions Office will lead an event-ending question-and-answer and application information session.
