Registration is open for this limited seat poker tournament. The evening, hosted by (TBD), will feature a red carpet welcome, cocktails, dinner, both silent and live auctions, as well as poker and philanthropy. The event raises awareness and funding for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
St. Jude Against All Odds was founded and is co-chaired by Daniel Negreanu, a six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner. Event sponsors include Ashley Homestore, Charity Series of Poker, Sofa King, The Revolution FMO, LLC.
“As a father of two girls, I couldn’t imagine the stress and emotional toll one would face learning that their child has cancer”, said Mark Lindsey, owner of The Revolution FMO. “You just want to see your children grow up and have a family of their own someday; money is the last thing you want to think about. I am fortunate enough to be able to donate and help St. Jude continue its mission to hopefully find a cure so kids can focus on being kids, and not let the illness define them. Thank you to everyone that donates and thank you St. Jude for being such an amazing organization.”
Tournament buy-in, including dinner and cocktails, is $500 per person and tickets to cocktails and dinner are $275 per person, if purchased by December 31. Beginning January 1, dinner tickets will be $350 per person. Players in the poker tournament will be competing to secure a $10,000 seat to the 2020 WSOP Main Event, as well as trip for two to Go Center Ice with Daniel Negreanu to a Vegas Golden Knights Game plus one reserved seat in a special celebrity game featuring Daniel Negreanu, or a luxury leather bag from MontBlanc. The top 10 finishers will receive a prize bag consisting of a variety of items that total approximately $200-300 FMV.
Thanks to events like this one, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
